Tarion's rules/processes, regulations and policies
Course availability: Online learning allows you to work at your own pace from the comfort of your own computer any time of the day or night.
Timeframes: You will have access to the course for three months from the date of course registration to complete the online education. Extensions can be purchased if additional time is required.
Tuition: The tuition for this course includes the online education and an electronic copy of the course manual.
Passing grade: The passing grade is 70%.
Final Exam - Tarion Approved Assessment
To assess your understanding of the course content, the final exams for Tarion approved courses are administered by Algonquin College at independent testing locations throughout the province.
The exam for Customer Service & Tarion's Warranty is closed book in a multiple choice, multiple answer and true/false format.
When you are close to completing the online course, visit www.algonquincollege.com/corporate and select "Tarion" on the top menu bar of the page to book and purchase your final exam at a location near you.
Algonquin College will release your exam results directly to you through email (the same email you registered with for the assessment). You will receive your exam results in approximately two weeks after completing the assessment.
